What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


  • Conduct research under the mentorship and supervision of Prof. Adam Kaufman.
  • The research will be focused on supporting the development of a continuously operating cold-atom apparatus of Yb, which will be used for studies in quantum information science.

The salary for this temporary, 6 month position is $2,600 per month.

What We Require

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
  • Continuing education towards Master's degree in Quantum Science and Technology.


What You Will Need


  • Some experience with vacuum technology, high power laser systems, low noise laser systems, quantum information, and ultracold atom physics.
